What is the BAS token? BAS (BAS) is a governance token native to the Block Ape Scissors ecosystem. It is required to Ape into the game, purchase in-game currency, for farms and a requirement for all competitions within our ecosystem.

What is an access token?

An Access token is a Bearer token that you will have to add in all request headers to be authenticated as a concrete user. An Access token is an encrypted string with all User properties, Claims and Roles that you wish. (You can check that the size of a token increases if you add more roles or claims).

What is a Bearer Token (refresh token)?

The Bearer Token or Refresh token is created for you by the Authentication server. When a user authenticates your application (client) the authentication server then goes and generates for you a Bearer Token (refresh token) which you can then use to get an Access Token.
